This is a nice, thick, mushroom-flavored soup that is easy to prepare
and very enjoyable to eat.
Here are ingredients:
- Optional: Garlic (1 clove - crushed or finely chopped).
- Finely chopped white mushrooms (4 ounces - 100 grams)
- Finely chopped onions (2 tablespoons)
- Optional: Celery (1 stalk, finely diced)
- Chicken stock (1 can)
- Cream (1 cup)
- Butter
- Flour (1 tablespoon)
- Pepper
- Salt
- Optional: Fresh chives or thyme (for garnish)
Here are the steps to prepare the soup:
- Melt the butter in a pan.
If using garlic, cook it in the butter for about 1 minute
until it starts to turn brown.
Add the mushrooms, onions and celery, and a pinch of salt and pepeer
to the butter, and sautée for about 5 minutes.
- Add flour, stir it in, and continue to cook for about 1 minute more.
- Add chicken stock and cream, continuing to stir. Simmer for about another 5 minutes.
- If you want, you can garnish the dish with a little fresh chives
and/or thyme.
