Product Description: Tom Douglas ""Rub with Love"" Pork Rub is the perfect low and slow barbecue rub accented by cumin, coriander and just a touch of cayenne. Perfect rubbed on anything thing from chicken and duck to pork ribs and shrimp. Tom and his wife Jackie own 5 of Seattles most remarkable restaurants Dahlia Lounge, Ettas, Palace Kitchen, Lola and Serious Pie. Our restaurants have also inspired a product line. Rub with Love has a great story: When we opened our seafood restaurant Ettas in 1995, the menu featured a signature salmon dish that was dry rubbed. The rub combined brown sugar, smoked chilies, and a hint of thyme to evoke the alder smoked salmon the Pacific Northwest is famous for. The dish became so popular (and still is) that people began asking for rub to use at home. After selling in hand packed zip lock bags for a few years, we introduced the Tom Douglas Rub with Love rub line in 1999. The rest is history... A great selling point for Rub with Love Spice Rubs is their fast prep time. A quick sprinkle and rub 5-10 minutes prior to cooking is all the time it takes. Our spice rubs marry with the juices of whatever youre flavoring to form a delicious glaze. In just 10 minutes, youre ready to cook! You can grill, bake, barbecue or sauté with Rub with Love Spice Rubs. Chef inspired, restaurant tested, quick, easy and delicious, our rubs have become staples in our customers pantries. |

- Dry-cured pork loin
- Great as a tapa or on a sandwich. Just slice and serve!
Product Description: Palacios is produced in the La Rioja region of northern Spain. Those of you who have tried their various dry-cured chorizos will know why they are a trusted name because of the artisan character of their products. Lomo is a dry-cured loin of pork, meaty and tender with virtually no fat. Each lomo is cured with garlic, paprika and other spices to accent the delicious jamón flavor. In fact, many people prefer it to serrano ham. Palacios lomo is the perfect premium replacement for chorizo (which has a higher fat content). Slice very thinly and drizzle with extra virgin olive oil for a classic taste of Spain. Great as a 'tapa' with sheep's milk cheese or slices of jamon serrano. It makes a super bocadillo / sandwich on a crusty roll. Que rico! No cooking necessary, just slice and serve. The lomo is approximately two inches thick. |
